NoobCook’s 2009 Picks, Happy 2010!

Woah time flies! Another year has whizzed past by. This time last year, I wrote: “2008 is a year where I did some serious cooking and actively posted my culinary adventures on this blog. I hope to keep it up in 2009” Yes, looking back, I’m proud to say that I did keep up my momentum for the whole year! I enjoyed the process of cooking as much I love to eat, and cooking has become some form of therapy for me.

Drunken Prawns Baked Camembert Pasta Roast Chicken with Glutinous Rice Stuffing

Now and then, I hear people complaining that they don’t know what to cook and they find cooking a chore. For me, it’s the reverse. The more I cook, the more I enjoy it, and the more recipes and new ingredients I come across, the more restless I am to try out everything – it’s a case of “so many things to try, so little time” for me! I hope I still find the passion and time in 2010 to cook all kinds of food and improve my skills. For those of you who read my blog, thank you very much! I am humbled that anyone will read a food blog by a noob cook :halo:

Happy New Year to you too! Although after over a year of cooking as seriously as you do I don’t think you really qualify as a noob anymore. ;) Looking forward to another year!

You can bake which to me, is a lot harder than cook! I have a lot to learn from you in the baking department. Look forward to your CNY bakes. Happy 2010! :-)
