Easter Nests Cupcakes
Adorable Easter Nest Cupcakes

Easter Sunday is about 2 weeks away (8 April 2012). Every year during this period, some local supermarkets will start selling Easter eggs chocolates and candies, tempting me with their cuteness. When I saw Hershey’s mini egg candy, I knew that they are just perfect for making Easter nests cupcakes which I often see on food blogs and cookbooks. The base cupcake recipe is the one I always use, while the bird nest topping is made using chocolate fondue and chocolate shavings. They are fun to make and eat – perfect for Easter holiday and really, everyday. Don’t forget to check out the step by step photos, cooking notes and ingredients list on page 2.

Very suitable for the kids this Easter and they don’t have to go egg hunting! Bet they will gobble up every bit of it!

I don’t see any “Eggs” Ingredient list but I noted that “Eggs” are mixed together with all other ingredients before we beat them with the electric whisk. May I know if Eggs are needed and how many eggs are needed? Appreciate your response as I am very eagle to get them bake.

When I first saw your photo, I was so curious about your tiny eggs. Now after reading the entire post, I know what it is made of. What a cute and fun idea! Love your shots too!

It is not very often that I see desserts posted in your blog but when you do, it is usually something amazing … like these cupcakes. How timely for Easter as well.
