One seldom see radishes being added in a fruit juice and I guess it’s because their taste can be quite sharp & spicy when consumed raw. The trick is not to add too many radishes, and blend them with cherry tomatoes and carrots as their natural sweetness will balance out the overall taste.

This is my take on perhaps Singapore’s most popular food, the Hainanese chicken rice. My way of preparing chicken rice is “almost Hainanese”, because I steamed the chicken. Somehow, the taste is close. Comes with recipes for the condiments (ginger sauce, chilli sauce, sesame dressing) and herbal chicken soup.

Can I call this a Chinese-Italian inspired recipe?The cooking is Chinese style, while cutting the vegetables to small pieces remind me of vegetable minestrone soup …. in fact, the taste also ends up a little similar to minestrone soup because of the diced vegetables and tangy taste of the tomato.
