Lemongrass is a detoxifying ingredient so this is really beneficial especially after prolonged periods of over-indulging in food. It also aids digestion, combat heat, is a natural remedy for fever, anti-inflamatory & anti-cancer, among a host of other health benefits. If you can find pandan (screwpine pines) in your area, brew them with lemongrass for an unbeatable fragrance. Ginger is added for a slight spiced taste and to get rid of excess “wind” in the tummy.
