Noob Cook Recipes

About

Hi, I’m wiffy the Noob Cook. I’m from the sunny city of Singapore.

Welcome to my recipes blog! I enjoy cooking even though I don’t think I’m very good at it. Being a noob* at cooking doesn’t, however, deter me from entering the kitchen and trying to whip up a storm. In this blog, I feature recipes of the successful dishes I’ve made. Hopefully, my bravery in entering the kitchen and showcasing the recipes will be an inspiration to other noobs out there.

* In case you are wondering what noob means, here are some of the applicable definitions at urban dictionary:

Being a Noob Cook doesn’t mean we eat in all the time! Noob Cook Reviews (sister site) is a personal blog of our eat-out and travel escapades, where we share our foodie and travel finds with our readers. All featured reviews and content on Noob Cook Reviews site are explored at our own expense and recreation (non sponsored).

I’m glad I found your blog! because I am also a cooking “noob” as well! and I also have my own “noob” cooking blog as well!

Its nice to find others who are new to cooking!

My story is that my parents used to do all the cooking but now that they have passed away I am finding that it is even fun and relaxing learning to cook! Since I am a noob at it I still have a lot to learn but I am having fun with it.

I have also come to find that since I’m getting older I have to learn how to make more healthy recipies and eat more healthier meals – so I’m learning that also!

    So glad to meet you!

    Hi Wiffy

Thanks for sharing your recipes so generously. I came across your website by chance. I tried the coca cola chicken wings and my whole family, especially my two children simply love them. Thanks so much. Will try the grill miso salmon next when I buy my grill pan.

Hi Scrumpy, I’m not really sure what you meant. The cooking notes are recipe-specific. I did not compile them on a new page.
