I am so so impressed with your photographs!
Are you a professional photographer? My goodness, the restaurants should employ you to take their food pictures, man!
I love Japanese food too…. makes me want to visit this Raku restaurant, but I’m from JB… so it will be doubly expensive for me!!!

Hi inxse, I’m so sorry to hear that you have a not-so-pleasant experience. On both occasions I was there, it was lunchtime so perhaps the place is less busy in the day, I don’t know. For the buffet, I arrived at the time the buffet started so that I can eat longer ;p anyway, thanks for sharing your experience …

was there for the buffet last night. not a very pleasant experience as service was unusally slow (with an average of 10-15 minutes for each dish to arrive) and before you knew it, time for the last order was up. after placing the last order at 9.30pm, it did not arrive until 9.50pm.

told the serving staff about the service but it didnt help much.

wouldnt return to the restaurant again.

Ippo, unbelivable!! Where were you born? Well I agree too that Sg is gettting too crowded :o :cry: I dun think it’s due to tourism though … there were much more bbs and foreigners than 10 years ago hehe … I avoid crowded places (like zouk out, haha) and shopping malls on weekends =D

I used to live in Sg for 5 years :-D
I love Sg & I think if I could live anywhere in the world, Sg would be a good option.
I always visit yearly .. except it seems like every time I visit, Sg is getting more & more crowded.
The Sg government should stop marketing tourism so heavily!! It’s too crowded haha! Last time I visited was during Zouk Out & the resorts were still under construction.

Wiffy, these are among the best restaurant shots I’ve seen – one awesome photo after the next. Presentation of Japanese food is definitely part of its elegant beauty. Those tofu dishes, the chuwanmushi – gorgeous, all of them (favorite eats!). What a feast!
