I’m hosting Grow-Your-Own!!
September 3, 2008 – 8:09 pm by wiffyOooo I’m so excited!~ Because … I’m the current host for Andrea’s Grow Your Own event, & this is also the first food blog event I am guest hosting. Thank you, Andrea, for giving me a chance to take part in this event, in more wonderful ways than one =) If this is your first time at my humble food blog … thanks for visiting and welcome! ^^

[GYO Rules]
- Make a dish that uses at least one item from your very own garden or farm and post about it. Your garden doesn’t have to be big. Container gardens are welcome! If you hunted or foraged, those items are also eligible. You can also use something that was given to you, but the giver must have personally grown or raised the item. If you paid for it, then it doesn’t count.
- Anything edible that you have grown or raised qualifies, including fruits, vegetables, herbs, sprouts, edible flowers, nuts, grains, legumes, dairy products, eggs, livestock, and anything else I might have forgotten. Produce from both indoor and outdoor gardens are welcome! Different regions will have different things available, so feel free to feature things unique to your area. (Rambutan trees, anyone?) We are all about celebrating variety!
- Please make sure your dish is posted during the month of the event because we like to celebrate seasonal items. One post per blog, please.
- If you want to include one of the Grow Your Own badges in your post, feel free to grab one from here (scroll towards the end). (Please upload to your own server/image repository.)

Hey there NC. I was just browsing through (with one finger mousepad navigation because my hands are all clublike!) and I noticed you have a pandan plant! I am so jealous. And I think I might steal the idea!!! If I can find one down here that is. Hmmm.

So nice to eat your own harvest. Too bad I have none in my house, not even a tiny pot of herbs or etc. If not, I would love to participate in your first event.

Hi, I came across your blog from the featured blogger badge in Pablo’s blog. Wow this is interesting and I would like to join. But to clarify further in the recipe I used need to use 3 types of herbs and I only have 2 types of home grown plants is this allowed cos I need to buy another herb from the market.

Yay, count me in! I gotta remember the deadline though. I grow just 2 things (actually I’ve killed all but those two) - basil and habanero.
