After admiring the beautiful pictures in the previous issues, I’ve decided to join the monthly food photography event called CLICK! So here’s my very first entry for this month’s theme of ‘Au Naturel’:
Bee Naturel - My Entry for April’s Click Photo Event
Ok, corny title. I am just being my usual pun-ny self =P (Funny … Pun-ny … Puns, geddit? =P)
The ‘thing’ on top of the flower and scattered on the floor are actually dried little pink rose buds which I bought to make rose water toner or floral tea. But it ended up first as a ‘prop’ for the photos here instead. Anyway I thought the single rose bud resembles a bee atop a flower, though it turns out looking more like a wanna-bee (opps another bad pun :x)
Anyway, the above is a proper picture of the pink rose buds. I think I may try making a tea based on different tea leaves and flowers, next time

For a while, I thought those scattered rose buds on the floor were dead bees!!! :O

that’s very innovative! my first reaction was “dead bees”. maybe you were going to make “bee stir-fry”, probably a bit crunchy but something that i don’t want to try. very “punny”. thanks for participating
