I love supper, hate chubby face

March 24, 2008 – 9:49 pm by wiffy

Went to tabao supper @ 85 market last Saturday and the lady from my fave satay stall remarked that I’ve put on weight. “But don’t worry, only on the face. And u look better with chubbier face“. I feel much better that the weight gain is apparent on the face only … NOT =x I think the second part must have come as an attempt to console me after seeing my distraught response, heh =P

Anyway, this is what I ordered after she told me about my weight gain & we’re eating this at 11pm… actually, this is already the cut version - I’m quite sure I would have ordered the famous Chai Chee porridge next door too if not for her comment (coz I kinda regret that I didn’t when I come home =P) But weight gain aside, the food is soooo wonderful!! I think it’s worth the sacrifice when the food is so good. =D~

  2. Yum yum, I like sambal stingray. It’s ok to sacrifice once in a while, yeah? :P

  3. I miss sambal stingray leh! It’s ok to take supper once in a while. A sunken face (depression due to lack of food) does not look good either. :P

  6. Believe me, I know EXACTLY how you feel. I “gain weight” on my face too. So the food better be good enough to be worth it - and it usually is.
