Jalapeno Plant Flowers!!
November 18, 2007 – 5:02 pm by wiffyGreat news!!!
One of my jalapeno plants flowered at 2 months old! Soooo cute! And can see that the other two are flowering soon! They are doing really well

I ask my neighbour a retarded question this week:: why did the flower droop downwards? She gave me a friendly dot dot dot look… and taught me that the chilli, which comes from the flowers, is always drooping down … I feel so silly
Now I am left with 3 pots of jalapeno plants… 2 for myself and 1 reserved for didally. Sadly, the others (about 6) I repotted never recovered from the trauma of our poor repotting skills and 4 have already went prematurely to heaven while 2 is in ICU =( Lesson learnt:: Don’t be greedy, put one seed in each pot (the plant you see is from one seed) and do not repot them when they are still in their infancy (for my case I don’t have a choice as they are too crowded).
Been busy and neglecting my plants for the past month. But surprising they are still alive and some doing well despite my lack of care. So I thought that perhaps, my plants are hardy and thrives on neglect. Then this week, I found out the truth about why my plants are still alive - My neighbour told me that she has been helping me put fertiliser and water the plants that I have under-watered all this time… I am sooo touched!!! Thank you!
